Our beaches will open for the season on Saturday, June 20, 2026, and will be open daily from 9am to 5pm through Labor Day Weekend, weather permitting and unless otherwise posted. Please keep the following in mind:

  • All beachgoers must follow the directions given by OBSC1 lifeguards and staff

  • Valid OBSC1 beach badges are required to be worn at all times by owners, renters, and guests

  • Guests can purchase daily badges at the badge booth located at the center walkway

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on Club property, including beaches, walkways, and benches

  • Our beaches follow a “carry in, carry out” policy, so please ensure you take all trash and recycling with you when you leave

 


Information for Homeowners who Rent their Homes

Following the success of summer 2025, we will continue our improved OBSC1 Guest/Rental Agreement  process with minor adjustments. A few key reminders:

  • Owners are responsible for compliance with all Rules, Regulations & Bylaws related to their renters and rental process. Compliance with this process is mandatory, regardless of whether renters plan to access our beaches, events, etc. Owners are responsible for including all relevant requirements in rental agreements and ensuring renter compliance

  • Renters have full access to the Club’s amenities, including private roads, beaches, and events. Rental fees help cover increased security, lifeguards, and other Club expenses, directly offsetting membership dues

  • Weekly rental fees will be a flat rate regardless of home size, providing 8 badges per rental. Any additional guests must purchase extra badges at the booth, as badges are non-transferable

  • Renters who rent homes for multiple weeks require guest/rental fees for each week of occupancy; rentals of durations shorter than a week (e.g., weekend) are subject to the weekly rate

    Rentals through Ocean Beach Sales & Rental Agency

    • Fees: $175 per week rental fee, collected by Ocean Beach Sales & Rentals and disbursed to Club directly

      Club Forms Not required. Ocean Beach Sales & Rentals will provide the Club with all relevant information from the executed lease contracts

      Badge Distribution: Handled by Ocean Beach Sales & Rentals in accordance with your rental agreements

Rentals through Other Agencies or Online Platforms (VRBO, Airbnb etc.)

    • Fees: $195 per week rental fee, payable by homeowner to the Club at least 14 days prior to rental. If paying by check, must be received by June 1, 2026. Payments after June 1 can only be made by credit/debit cards

    • Club Forms Required. Completed Guest/Rental Agreement Form is due to Club at least 14 days prior to renter occupancy

    • Badge Distribution (only after rental fees are paid in full): May be picked up and distributed by owner or may be picked up by renters at badge booth
