OBSC1 Fairness Hearing | May 27, 2026

OBSC1 Members:

It has come to the attention of the OBSC board that a recent notification made to the attorneys involved in the Gross v OBSC matter has led to some confusion as to the May 27, 2026 hearing. This attorney notification, made through NJ eCourts was only to inform the attorneys in the case that the May 27 event was recharacterized from a “proceeding” to a “motion hearing,” as shown in the publicly available docket through NJ eCourts.

Again, while only counsel for OBSC and counsel for Gross received this notification, this false information has spread to social media and elsewhere. To be certain, the May 27 Fairness Hearing is proceeding, as originally scheduled, and is not cancelled.
