OBSC1 Important Reminders

OBSC1 Members:

We are reaching out with a few important updates and reminders happening in the coming weeks.

Bay Beach Clean-up - TOMORROW, June 6th

On Saturday, June 6th at 10am, please join Jeff Conger and other Trustees in cleaning up and preparing the Bay Beach for the summer season. Please bring any extra shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows you may have on hand. We appreciate all help!

Spring Membership Meeting and Badge Distribution - June 13th

The Spring Membership Meeting will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 10am at Union Church in Lavallette. Owner’s Beach Badges will be handed out as you check in for the meeting. For anyone unable to attend on 6/13, badges will be available at the Badge Booth starting Saturday, 6/20 from 9am-5pm daily.

Construction and Boat/Trailer Reminders - June 15th

No construction is allowed June 15 to September 15, 2026. Additionally, all boats, jet skis, trailers etc. must be removed from OBSC1 properties by June 15, 2026; watercraft/equipment may be returned on September 15, 2026. Fines may be levied for non-compliance.

Beaches Open for Season - June 20th

Our beaches will open for the season on Saturday, June 20, 2026, and will be open daily from 9am to 5pm through Labor Day Weekend, weather permitting and unless otherwise posted.

Rentals handled outside of Ocean Beach Sales & Rentals Agency

Reminder to all owners who rent outside of Ocean Beach Sales and Rental Agency that a completed Guest/Rental Agreement Form and payment (credit/debit cards only) is due to Club at least 14 days prior to renter occupancy. If you rent through Ocean Sales & Rentals, all necessary coordination with the Club is handled by them on your behalf.

If you have submitted your form and payment on a timely basis, we will work to have your renters badges available for pick-up during the Spring Membership Meeting on 6/13. Otherwise, badges associated with paid weekly rental agreements will be available for pick-up at the booth starting 6/20.

Help Wanted -a few positions still open!

If you enjoy being outside in a great beach community and are interested in a summer position, please fill out an Application. Applicants can apply for positions in the Badge Booth, Clothing Sales or a combination of both roles.
