OBSC1 Paving Progress Update - 5/22

OBSC1 Members: Please see below for an end of week update on our paving project. We will continue to keep you all updated on project progress.

Paving Schedule
The crew made good progress again on Friday, 5/22. As a reminder, asphalt remains hot long after the crews have completed their work, so please use caution, especially with children and pets. Additionally, with the higher temperatures this weekend, the asphalt can take additional time to 'cure,' so the roads paved yesterday remained closed until this afternoon - they have now been reopened as of 2:30pm. As mentioned, the project is taking longer then originally anticipated. Late on Monday, the crew will shift over to handle milling and paving of one street in Rutherford, with plans to return to OBSC1 on Tuesday. Trash Collection Update
Contrary to our update on 5/20, TRASH COLLECTION WILL TAKE PLACE ON MONDAY, 5/24 as scheduled. We have arranged for the trucks to pass through our streets prior to 8am to avoid conflicts with paving equipment and driving on newly paved surfaces.
